The University of Roehampton London is recruiting to the role of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Data Science to join our expanding Department of Computing.
The successful candidate should demonstrate a breadth of knowledge and experience in various areas of Data Science, including statistics, modelling, and data analysis. They should also demonstrate significant experience in successfully applying tools to "real-world data" in, for instance, transport, healthcare, education, psychology, and journalism.
We are looking for candidates who want to be part of a supportive and collegiate team. You must be highly motivated, passionate about education and be able to initiate and develop ideas and opportunities in teaching, learning, and research.
We expect the successful candidate to strengthen collaborations with other disciplines within the University and with external stakeholders. They should be able to provide evidence for successful collaborations in the past.
The School of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences is currently ‘incubating’ the subject area of Computing, the Computing area may relocate to a new School in 2024 alongside Engineering and Technology.
