Our research is driven by the objectives set out in the Research and Knowledge Exchange Strategy 2020/21 – 2024/25 and it is aimed at developing our people, the research infrastructure for our staff and students and embedding the research culture.
ABOUT THE POST
Research and Knowledge Exchange is seeking to appoint a Postgraduate Research Student Coordinator to support the positive experience for Postgraduate Research Degree Students.
Working with Professional services, Academic colleagues around the University and under the leadership of Research and Postgraduate Office Manager, the Postgraduate Research Student Coordinator will be a main point of contact for research students, supervisors, applicants and enquirers, key in delivering the Postgraduate Research Student success.
Pivotal in developing a safe and enabling environment for the research students, this role will involve the coordination of Postgraduate Research Student training programme, internal conference and engagement events, contributing to embedding the research culture at London Met, together with the colleagues at Research and Postgraduate Office.
The RPO team is professional, dynamic and inclusive and this is an exciting time for Research, KE and Enterprise at London Met, with a growing portfolio research-related activity and more opportunities for Postgraduate Research Students, the Postgraduate Research Student Coordinator will support the positive PGR student experience and promote the identity of the Research and Postgraduate Office at London Met.
Experience of delivering high-quality customer service, working with policies, regulations and student data, and coordinating project and events is essential.
