Do you have a combination of strong organisational and recent administrative skills and experience, excellent attention to detail, with the ability to respond to a high volume of enquiries?
This is an opportunity to play a central role in the Graduation and Awards Team supporting the planning and delivery of our graduation ceremonies, which are major institutional events to celebrate our students’ achievements. You will have excellent customer-service skills and support the front-of-house delivery of our graduation ceremonies. You will also have excellent IT, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive working relationships with a wide range of people and teams. You will be highly organised and used to delivering to deadlines.
You will be responsible for responding to student, graduand, staff and alumni queries and act as a first point of contact for graduands and their guests during Graduation. You will provide administrative support for the production and distribution of certificates, transcripts, and other records of achievement for students and alumni ahead of our Graduation ceremonies.
This post is fixed term until 31 July 2024. A job share arrangement can be considered.
The post is suitable for hybrid working with the opportunity to combine some working from home with work at our Colchester campus. However, the postholder will need to work on our Colchester campus to support the planning and delivery of our graduation ceremonies and document production and distribution.
