An exciting opportunity exists for a Digital Skills Manager to join Computing and Library Services and lead a team in co-ordinating a range of IT training activities to support the University's digital strategy and development of digital skills and literacy.

You will promote digital dexterity and develop a digital adoption strategy to improve the skills of staff and students to enable modern global ways of working. As the Digital Skills Manager, you will play a key role in engaging with University strategic change initiatives through relevant projects and business as usual activities to facilitate and advise on digital skills training and related aspects of change management.

You will have significant experience of leading and managing a team in the delivery of digital skills or a similar programme, face-to-face and online. You will also have significant experience of design, delivery, evaluation and reporting of digital skills training programmes for staff and student groups. Experience of managing stakeholder relationships and engaging with third-party solution providers is essential.

Educated to degree level or with an equivalent qualification or experience, you will have good understanding of the concepts of digital and information literacy, and their application in a Higher Education setting. You will have the ability to learn digital technologies and explain technical issues to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership and a non-technical audience.
