About the Role
The School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University of London invites applications from scholars of international distinction for appointments at the rank of Lecturer in any fields in economics and finance, with particular interest in finance and financial econometrics.
About You
The successful candidate must have an undergraduate and postgraduate degree and/or relevant professional qualification and/or equivalent professional experience, together with a clear international profile and reputation for excellence. An outstanding record of publications with demonstrable impact in the field is an essential requirement. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute significantly to the development of the School’s research strategies, to be active in attracting research income and to play a full role in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full-time and permanent, with an expected start date of 01 September 2024. The starting salary is £49,785 per annum (Grades 5 to 6), inclusive of London Allowance.
In addition, this post attracts a market supplement and there is discretion to apply between 35% and 50% of salary depending on current market conditions. A review of market conditions will be carried out periodically to establish if the market supplement should continue.
