The Project Manager role provides project management and leadership to projects of strategic importance, potentially managing several projects at any given time. Projects are typically system implementations or enhancements but can also cover other improvement/business change projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to work as part of a project management team to manage a range of business change and technological projects to support the implementation of our new Digital Strategy for 2030. The projects will vary greatly in terms of size, scope and nature.
Working as part of a team of Project Managers alongside Analysts, Service Owners, Trainers and customers, the person in this role will help the team to meet the strategic and short-term objectives of our customer groups. You will deliver the required project outputs within agreed tolerances. You will plan, manage and monitor the delivery of business change and IT projects and ensure that projects have a sound quality management process, in line with our standard approach to project management and governance.
The role also involves identifying opportunities to improve how the University manages projects to meet current and emerging needs and coaching University staff who are working on projects. Working with established standard processes, you will work closely with our customers at all levels across the University.
