The Opportunity
Keele School of law is seeking to appoint a lecturer in Medical Law and Ethics. This is an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious team, as we further develop teaching excellence across a growing portfolio of programmes and applied impactful research and knowledge exchange.
The successful applicants will join a School with a strong track record of research excellence, with key areas of research strength in: Ethics, Health & Social Care; International and European Law; Legal Education, Innovation and Practice; Social Justice and Human Rights, and Gender, Crime, Sexuality and Law. In addition to offering ten LLB pathways, the School also offers ten postgraduate taught programmes reflecting research strengths.
The University is seeking to appoint highly ambitious individuals with excellent research outputs or clear research potential, with the ability to make a strong contribution to the delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (we have particular needs in Medical Law and Ethics but an ability to teach obligations, property or family law and related subjects would also be an advantage).
