Join our highly professional, committed and student focused academic community, based at the Chichester campus. The Applied Sciences provision at the University of Chichester consists of Sport and Life Sciences; Nursing and Allied Health; and Engineering, Computing and Mathematics.
About you
The appointed postholder will have a sound understanding of sport performance analysis and coaching and the ability to teach across a range of sport related undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with particular specialisms considered, for example football. The role will include developing content to shape the delivery of the BSc programmes in Football Coaching and Performance, Sport and Exercise Science, Sport Coaching and MSc programmes in Sport Coaching and Sport Performance Analysis.
Your teaching will be informed by a combination of practical experience and/or research to support high quality learning and teaching. Experience of using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), and the use of technologies to enhance the learning, assessment of and feedback to students on a range of programmes within the Institute of Applied Sciences would be beneficial.

You’ll need to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and positively within the sport and life sciences academic team. You should exhibit excellent teaching methods with the ability to develop a variety of approaches to learning and teaching that is student-centred, inclusive and flexible.
