The role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Centre for Academic Primary Care, part of Bristol Medical School and the NIHR School for Primary Care. In this role you will play a central role in the delivery of clinical trials in primary care.
What will you be doing?
You will help identify and set-up suitable sites (e.g. GP surgeries), determine the eligibility of potential participants and receive their consent, and coordinate and/or deliver study interventions and follow-up. You will ensure clear and effective communication is maintained with the recruiting sites, monitoring targets, providing feedback and ensuring support is provided where necessary. You will work closely with other members of the trial team, both in Bristol and elsewhere.

This role demands enthusiasm, excellent interpersonal skills, an in-depth knowledge of the study protocols and procedures, meticulous record keeping and adherence to the regulatory codes of Good Clinical Practice. You will be based in Bristol you will be travelling around the region (to GP surgeries and patient’s homes) on a regular basis. You will need to work flexibly, independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
