Are you an experienced Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Sustainability Management/Responsible Leadership looking for a role that provides you with the opportunity to use your research to inform the delivery of exceptional teaching and support student success?

Northumbria University has launched its latest campus in the heart of the European Union in the city of Amsterdam with the first students enrolled in September 2018. The Northumbria University Amsterdam Campus provides an exciting opportunity for research and teaching development of the successful candidate.

Many of our business programmes have EPAS accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development and/or enjoy professional accreditation from a range of professional bodies.

Working within the Northumbria University Amsterdam Campus, you will join a team of highly qualified and motivated academics with a passion for enhancing the student experience. You will contribute to research informed and technology enabled learning and teaching at postgraduate level. In addition to teaching, you will undertake research and scholarly activities contributing to the Faculty’s and Campus research profile, together with contributing to consultancy, enterprise, and other income generation and business development activities.

You must have (or be close to completing) a PhD or DBA in a relevant in a Business Management field, ideally coupled with a record of publications. With excellent interpersonal skills, you must be able to demonstrate expert knowledge in the field and be able to teach effectively on a range of academic and professional programmes using a variety of approaches to student learning. You will possess strong quantitative and/or qualitative analytical skills and ideally be a member of an appropriate professional body.

Please note that this role will be based on the Northumbria University Amsterdam Campus, the monthly salaries are as follows:

Lecturer - €3,746 - €5,127 (plus holiday allowance, 13th month payment, pension allowance and commuting allowance)

Assistant Professor - €5,190 - €5,826 (plus holiday allowance, 13th month payment, pension allowance and commuting allowance)

Please note this is a fixed term contract for 18 months.
