We are looking to appoint a Postgraduate Research Administrator to join our team, supporting the postgraduate research student journey in the School of Medicine.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be friendly, proactive, and self-motivated. In addition, you will possess excellent planning, organisation and communication skills. The role holder will join the School of Medicine’s postgraduate administrative team and will work with a range of stakeholders, including academic teams and other university departments.
The role will provide administrative support for postgraduate research courses (e.g. PhD, MPhil), and will be committed to providing an excellent experience for our students from recruitment, admissions, assessments and graduation. This is a busy and varied role, utilising a range of skills.
The successful candidate will be qualified to GCSE level to include English and Maths (or equivalent) or significant work experience in a similar role with excellent IT skills and proven ability to work to tight deadlines.
This position is offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered.
The post is based in the Education Centre, Queens Medical Centre at Nottingham, however, you may be asked to travel to other university sites as part of the role.
