About Us:
King's College London is on a mission to transform the student experience, and we are launching a significant transformation program that encompasses systems, processes, people, data, and policies. While we've made excellent progress with our innovative King’s Vision 2029, there's a need to expedite the operationalisation of planned changes. The transformation of our services is the crucial next step to deliver a cutting-edge 21st-century student experience.
About the Role:
As the Director of Student Operations, you will lead and provide strategic direction to a substantial and complex team. Your responsibility will extend to the successful delivery of key operational services throughout the Student Lifecycle, from applicant to graduate, encompassing Admissions, Student Administrative Services, Exams, Assessment and Timetabling, and Student Funding.
Your overarching duty is to ensure a proactive, user-centric, and fully integrated approach to all Student Operations functions. You will drive the logistical implementation of various services across the academic cycle, leveraging the existing strengths of the team to guarantee high-quality and efficient operations that align with the College's needs and external compliance requirements.
Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will oversee and monitor these functions to ensure delivery, adoption of best practices, and improvements in service quality. You will develop and execute a new service strategy aimed at transforming the engagement of operational users across the College, fostering a 'OneKings' approach to provide seamless service to applicants and students.
We are seeking an individual who shares our vision and values, is comfortable operating both strategically and operationally, understands how to provide support and services to applicants, students, and other stakeholders, and is equipped to excel in a high-volume, complex, and fast-paced environment.
