Cardiff University Professional Services Finance is recruiting a Team Leader to oversee the operation of the Tuition Fee Team, part of the University Finance Service Unit Income function.
As a Team Leader you will support and guide your team, being responsible for induction and training, workload allocation, and wellbeing. The role requires a proactive, highly organised individual, with very strong analytical and technical skills and capable of balancing multiple priorities. The ability to problem-solve, initiate, and implement change, and build relationships with key partners is essential, as is ensuring a high level of service is provided to all internal and external customers.
This is a very interesting time to be part of the Finance Service Unit, with numerous projects for system and process improvement being investigated. With over 35 thousand students the Tuition Fee team is very busy with lots of variety in the daily interaction with customers. The successful applicant will thrive in a lively and challenging environment.
The post is full time, 35 hours per week, and open ended.
Standard working pattern – Monday to Friday.
The University offers blended working, and this post requires a minimum of 2 days working on site, with the remaining days working from home.
Salary: £32,332 to £34,980 per annum (Grade 5)
