The Student Wellbeing Service is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic person to join a team of Specialist Advisers at Brunel University London.
The Mental Health Adviser will be expected to manage a caseload of students, primarily those with mental health conditions. The post holder will be responsible for providing specialist advice, guidance and information to students and staff with mental health difficulties, and for ensuring that reasonable adjustments are made.
The successful applicant should have significant experience of working with adults with varied mental health conditions and substantial knowledge of the support requirements for disabled students in Higher Education.
You should have a degree or equivalent in an appropriate field and evidence of relevant professional qualification/training relating to mental health.
An essential requirement is for the successful applicant to satisfy the requirements of checks by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
