This is a fixed term appointment for 18 months
The Estates Division are seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant (Apprentice) to undertake general administrative duties. This is a junior role within the team, giving someone lots of opportunity to learn from experienced staff around them.
As a member of the administrative team, you will have dedicated responsibility for meeting and greeting visitors to the Estates office; answering incoming phone calls; distributing post; printing, collating and binding documents; preparing refreshments for meetings; booking meeting rooms; unpacking deliveries and other duties as required.
This role involves working within a large multi-disciplinary team and a pro-active, helpful and calm attitude will ensure your success in this role. You will be confident working with computers and have a good command of the English language.
Candidates should be educated to GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics (level A-C). Candidates should have good, clear oral and written expression in the English language and the ability to remain calm and always maintain a professional approach. The ideal candidate must be comfortable contacting a wide range of people both in person and on the telephone. They should also have a willingness to help all colleagues and visitors and a good timekeeping record.
