We are recruiting for a Senior Group Leader to join the Pandemic Sciences Institute at the Nuffield Department of Medicine.
We are seeking an established leader in the field of vaccine technology development with a strong focus on viral vectors and nucleic acid-based vaccines. You will have a proven track record of scientific breakthroughs with a significant international reputation in your field. You will have demonstrable and impactful research publication record.
You will lead a sub - group of the Emerging Pathogens vaccines group within the Pandemic Sciences Institute that focuses on the development of a vaccine technology research programme with a view to translate findings to benefit public health.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a PhD/DPhil, with significant experience at a senior level, and hold a recognised international authority within the field of vaccinology. You will be able to work collaboratively with the academic community to identify new opportunities in vaccine technology, and have a strong leadership record, with skills necessary to run a programme of research and manage and motivate a team of scientists.
