The role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic full-time Consultant Senior Lecturer in Trauma and Orthopaedics to join the Musculoskeletal Research Unit (University of Bristol) with clinical sessions preferably to be held with the Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant team at North Bristol NHS Trust.
What will you be doing?
The post holder will join the Bristol Medical School with an outstanding academic track record and strong national and international clinical and academic reputation. They will be expected to develop an independent programme of internationally competitive research and to participate in the full range of clinical service work.
You should apply if:
The job will be suitable for someone who already has a track record of competitive independent research in Trauma and Orthopaedics research specifically or musculoskeletal or health services research more broadly (or the clear potential to achieve this), and whose strength and experience has also equipped them to undertake adult Trauma and Orthopaedic clinical practice.
