We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Undergraduate Surgical Education, Innovation and Global Health Emerging Technologies
The successful post holder will be a substantive Consultant or Honorary Consultant and will have an excellent knowledge and understanding of recent developments in both the training of medical students and postgraduate courses in the UK. Experience of teaching – both online and in-person – as well as supervision in higher education, and extensive publication experience is desirable.
It is also desirable that the candidate have experience in submitting grants applications and a successful track record of receipt. This position will require the successful candidate to apply for relevant NIHR grants to augment and facilitate the Global Health remit.
The School and the Universities offer various academic and professional development opportunities including completion of a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification according to need.
This post is offered for 2 years fixed term in the first instance but it is likely to be renewed.
