We are looking for an experienced Learning Technologist to work within the Digital Learning team, which is one of the teams that make up the Learning and Wellbeing Directorate.

You will work closely with members of the team to support the digital learning systems/tools provisions and other operational activities. You will also work with academics and colleagues across RVC to ensure a positive digital teaching, learning and assessment experience occurs for all users.

We are looking for candidates who would be confident in taking on the following responsibilities:

  • Delivering and maintaining a suite of digital learning systems/tools with minimal downtime and the ability to meet user needs/requirements.
  • Supporting users through the helpdesk, direct emails, and bespoke training to ensure that issues/queries are effectively, and quickly resolved and best practices are being promoted.
  • Offer pedagogical and technical, guidance and consultancy to users of all abilities.
  • Attend meetings, forums and events and communicate the work of digital learning to raise the profile of what we are striving to achieve.
  • Input on business-critical projects including a Moodle rebuild and ePortfolio system migration and wider rollout.
  • Support academic staff and administrators to develop, build and enhance digital learning experiences and the yearly course rollover process.
