We have an exciting opportunity to join the Psychosis Research Group as a Research Manager. The Psychosis Research Group of the Centre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics carries out world-leading research that aims to improve the lives of those with severe mental illnesses. The group is initiating several large scale, international projects and we are looking for a Research Manager to provide administrative and managerial leadership of this important work.
You will oversee all aspects of the management and administration of the group. This will include responsibility for project teams, advising the senior academics with regard to research strategy and allocation of resources.
The role will involve wide international research collaboration and the possibility of international travel.
This post is based at the Hadyn Ellis Building, Cathays campus.
The majority of roles at Cardiff University are currently operating under “blended working” arrangements, with staff having the flexibility to work partly from home and partly from the University campus depending on specific business requirements. Salary: £39,347 - £44,263 per annum (Grade 6). Appointments to roles at Cardiff University are usually made at bottom of scale unless in exceptional circumstances.
