About this role

Join our highly professional, committed and student focused community within the Estate and Facilities Management team. The team provides a multi-disciplinary design and project management service in relation to alteration, refurbishment and new build works as well as effective space management and planning.  Reporting directly to the Director of Estate and Facilities Management the role will assume overall responsibility for delivering all projects on time and to budget ensuring key projects meet and exceed their stated objectives.

The university is also embarking on a major decarbonisation and sustainability project to support our net zero target policy. This role will play a key part in implementing this ambitious goal and the post holder will work closely with the Senior Leadership team to engender an innovative and proactive culture of sustainability.

About you

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative individual with experience leading large capital projects, including managing and maximising capital budgets. A motivational and true leader at heart, you must have the ability to quickly build effective working relationships and be an outstanding communicator.

About the team

The team is a small but dedicated team operating in a busy, vibrant educational setting. The role sits within the wider Estate and Facilities Management team based on the Bishop Otter Campus, Chichester but also working at our Bognor Regis Campus.
