This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced guidance professional to join our Student Life Team, working to deliver exceptional student support at the University of Bradford, putting students at the forefront of activity and service delivery.
As a Student Life Adviser, you will be responsible for providing high quality, professional advice, guidance, and support to our diverse student community. A major aspect of the role will be to support students on a wide range of financial matters including providing advice and guidance on government student funding, assessing and disbursing discretionary student hardship support, welfare benefit entitlement, and helping our students to develop financial capability skills.
You will also be responsible for supporting students experiencing a range of pastoral issues such as homelessness, domestic abuse, harassment and any other difficulties they may be facing which are impacting on their welfare.
The successful candidate will be expected to work between Monday to Friday but there will be infrequent weekend working to cover Open Days and other recruitment events.
