The Opportunity

Join our team at Keele University's Faculty of Natural Sciences! We are seeking an ambitious individual to contribute to our Foundation Year Centre.

You will collaborate across various Schools in the Faculty to deliver efficient administrative support to both staff and students. Your role involves supporting the Director of the Foundation Year in setting and achieving departmental objectives. Collaborating closely with the Faculty Operations Manager and School Operations Officer, you will take the lead in identifying and improving administrative processes within the Foundation Year, ensuring they are effective, and purpose driven.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Degree or professional qualification in a relevant subject, or equivalent work experience
  • Senior operational management experience  
  • Demonstrated track record in developing or improving administrative processes
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal, negotiation, and team working skills, suitable for a senior role
