The University of the West of Scotland is seeking to appoint a Research Impact and Engagement manager who will establish a small team to work collaboratively across the four UWS Schools to provide expert support and leadership to the development of research impact and research public engagement across the University.
We are seeking a candidate who will support members of academic staff across the Schools in recognising and accelerating the outcomes of their research, and will make an important contribution to the UWS ambitions for research and to future Research Excellence Framework (REF) submissions. The role is also responsible for managing internal impact funding opportunities and providing advice to applicants.
You will develop processes and procedures to support academic staff to capture, record and communicate impactful research, including the development of impact case study narratives.
