  • We are seeking applications from a highly motivated research fellow to join a collaborative research project ‘Moving Minds’, funded by a Centre of Cultural value award to Dr Sophie Forster (academic partner) and local animator Lara Leslie of Press Play films (cultural sector partner).
  • The project will use electroencephalography (EEG) and behavioural methods to examine the factors that make extra-curricular activities effective in engaging both autistic and neurotypical children, focusing in particular on the example of stop-motion animation workshops led by Leslie.
  • The post-holder will support Dr Forster in the day-to-day running of the project, including participant recruitment, data collection and management, and analysis.
  • The post-holder should have experience in the acquisition and analysis of experimental data in neuroscience or psychology. Experience of EEG data acquisition and/or analysis is essential. Experience of research with children is desirable.
