The post-holder will be a senior research nurse who will primarily lead on all aspects of clinical management and design of FutureMS and PrecisionMS, major MS precision medicine studies led by the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic. Anchored in Edinburgh, the post will require travel to study sites across Scotland.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and will be based at the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic with travel to other sites participating in the studies.
The post-holder will play a lead role in the delivery of the FutureMS and PrecisionMS research studies. They will oversee all aspects of these studies in conjunction with the PI and trial manager, including securing regulatory approvals and co-ordination of a nationwide multi-disciplinary team to ensure timely recruitment of participants. The post-holder will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and will have responsibility for the delivery of direct and indirect care and associated data collection for concurrent research studies and clinical drug trials undertaken in the Clinic, in accordance with the International Conference on Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP).
