The School of Divinity seeks to appoint a Professor in any area of Religion, Society and Ethics, contributing to its programme of research, knowledge exchange/impact, teaching and administration. The postholder will be expected to take a leading role in the strategic growth of the School, and possess the flexibility and imagination to collaborate with colleagues in other disciplines.
It is expected that the incoming Professor will assume a leading role, not only in teaching and research, but provide distinct leadership in public engagement and impact.
The post holder will be expected to lead the work of the School in the Edinburgh Futures Institute (EFI) and build a futures agenda for research and teaching in religion.
