King’s Foundations is a department within the Centre for International Education and Languages (CIEL) which provides high-quality international pathway, academic skills, and English language preparation courses for King’s students. Our mission is to enable and empower students to be the best they can be as part of a world-leading university. Valuing diversity, inclusivity, and cultural competency, we provide an outstanding student experience that integrates academic excellence with comprehensive support. We are currently enhancing our King’s International Foundation Programme and are seeking an experienced educator to contribute to its continued development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching highly capable and motivated international students on the King’s International Foundation, a one-year, RQF Level 3 programme for those intending to progress to undergraduate degrees at the university. They will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of the Global Politics, Social Sciences and Economics modules and other similar modules such as Liberal Arts or Business Management, depending on department needs and the skill set of the successful candidate.
This role will be joining King’s Foundations at an exciting time as we support our teaching staff to transfer over to Academic Education Pathway (AEP) contracts. The position is offered on an AEP contract, reflecting the nature of the role and providing a platform for excellence.
