Based on campus within the Disability & Wellbeing Service, you will provide administrative support to a large multi-disciplinary team and supervise the workload of a small administration team. The post holder will have previous relevant administration experience, preferably within higher education.

FTE:  1.0 (35 hours/week)

Term:  Open Contract

Based on campus within the Disability & Wellbeing Service, you will provide administrative support to a large multi-disciplinary team and supervise the workload of a small administration team.  The post holder will have previous relevant administration experience, preferably within higher education.  The Disability & Wellbeing Service provides support to many students, and we strive to deliver an outstanding student experience.

To be considered for the role, you will be educated to a minimum of HNC level and/or you will have significant experience in a similar role.  You will have excellent planning and organisational skills, a wide range of IT skills, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and you must have the versatility and enthusiasm to embrace new challenges.  You will be capable of undertaking the role with a high level of personal responsibility and initiative and you must be comfortable and effective in interacting with, and influencing, key internal and external stakeholders at a wide range of levels.

The working pattern for this post is -

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 9am – 5pm

Thursday: 12pm – 8pm (term time only, reverts to 9am – 5pm in July and August)

Friday: 9am – 5pm

The anticipated start date for the post will be week commencing Monday 8th April 2024.
