Salary on appointment will be £22,197 per annum (pro rata if part-time), with an annual increment up to £24,144 per annum (pro rata if part-time). 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Faculty Support Assistant to join the Faculty of Arts and Humanities

You will provide an efficient, high quality and pro-active administrative service within the Faculty, providing excellent customer service front of house services, managing the Faculty inbox, and helping to organise, execute and record a wide variety of processes including teaching and advising activity, financial processing, communications across a range of platforms, and working as part of a team on discrete projects of work.

You will work within and across multiple departments and teams, meaning that you will need to be able to work and communicate collaboratively with a variety of colleagues.

You will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English and Mathematics (or equivalent qualifications or experience) and demonstrable experience of working in a busy office environment. In addition, you will have the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, have excellent interpersonal skills and be confident with IT.

This post is available from 18 March 2024 on an indefinite basis, and we will consider applications for people wishing to work full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE or more). Details of preferred hours should be stated in the personal statement and will be discussed further at interview.
