Turning Passion into Purpose.

We are looking to recruit an EDI Manager as part of LSBU’s commitment to tackling gender equality.  The post holder will work towards progressing gender equality for students, staff and the wider LSBU community. You will take a lead role in co-ordinating the development and implementation of gender equality activities within LSBU, including building awareness of key issues, development of action plans in collaboration with key stakeholders, undertaking effective data analysis to support a data driven gender equality action and managing LSBU’s Athena SWAN submission. It is anticipated that key outputs will be project managing the development and review of LSBU’s gender equality actions alongside co-ordinating and supporting LSBU’s Athena SWAN submission.

The post is on a full time fixed term contract for two years.

  • Experience of implementing a broad range of equality, diversity, and inclusion activities.
  • Project management experience within a large organisation.
  • Have the ability to gain support and actively drive organisational change using a confident and collaborative approach.
  • Be able to engage a range of audiences and stakeholders on gender equality issues.
  • Be able to respond sensitively to a range of views.
