This is an exciting opportunity to join University of the Arts London’s Development Operations Team as a Development Operations Officer.

The Development Operations Team (comprised of the Head of Development Operations and Senior Development Researcher) plays a pivotal role by supporting fundraising, events, and alumni relations in four key areas:

  • donor and alumni database (Raiser’s Edge NXT) management
  • prospect research and portfolio management
  • reporting and insight
  • data governance and compliance

In this role you would have the opportunity to support the department’s activities through prospect research and alumni data management. More specifically, you would undertake research into donors, prospective donors, and strategic partners, while utilising your database and Excel skills to manage alumni data updates.

This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of two days per week required on-site at the High Holborn office (Tuesdays and Thursdays).

About you

Our ideal candidate will have experience of desktop research within a fundraising environment, including identifying corporate, trust and individual prospects, and producing written reports for varied audiences. You will have experience in using relational databases or CRMs and be an experienced user of Microsoft Excel, with good skills in data formatting and manipulation.

You will be an excellent communicator, with a proven track record of successful task management, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
