ABOUT THE ROLE

Swansea University are looking to recruit an Occupational Health Nurse to work on a full-time basis. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day to be worked between the hours of 8.30 am -4.00pm. Part Time and Term time only will be considered for the right candidate.

The Occupational Health (OH) Service provides a pro-active, professional, health and wellbeing focused service for all University staff and students. This is a great opportunity for the successful applicant to expand their skills and experience in a supportive team environment within a nurse led team whilst working on a beautiful and friendly campus, with an excellent holiday allowance.

Main purpose (full list in the Job Description):
•    Undertake Routine pre-employment screening and medicals for staff and students.
•    Perform Phlebotomy. 
•    Carry out Health surveillance.
•    Administer the Vaccination programme for students and staff undertaking exposure prone and non-exposure prone procedures.
Applicants must have (full list in Job Description):

•    Qualified Nurse to RGN Adult Level. 
•    NMC Registration and revalidation.
