The Role

We are recruiting for Disability Support Coordinators for our Engineering online practical activities. You will work alongside the module teams, coordinating disability and additional needs student support to ensure the smooth running of the activities.

Please note that not all dates in the table are working days and the time allocated to each activity will be split across the date range.

Appointments will be made based on availability of those appointed and the requirements of each activity.

Review and complete process/procedures process/procedures.  This will need to be completed before the first date you are working and can be completed at a time to suit you.

  • For online Engineering online practical activity weeks run between:
    • 6 to 19 April 2024
    • 25 May to 14 June 2024
    • 13 July to 9 August 2024
  • The online project activities run between:
    • 11 June 2024
    • 15 June to 16 June 2024
    • Wednesday 26 June 2024
    • Saturday 29 June 2024

The activities vary in start date, and you will be required to complete some preparation before the activity starts as well as attend a briefing session. This is likely to be within the 1 week preceding the activity start. Each person appointed will therefore also be allocated 1 day in addition to the above days to read through the Student Disability and Accessibility Profiles and complete review processes/procedures.

Please note that there are a number of posts and ideally, we would like applicants to do multiple online compulsory project activities, if at all possible.

This role is covered by various terms and conditions and will be made available to successful candidates.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
