We are the University of Cumbria, for and from Cumbria and our localities, rooted in serving our communities, with people, place and partnership at our heart.

Now is a very exciting time to be joining us because we are delivering a new "Towards 2030" strategic plan focused on making the most of our three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for our region, nationally and internationally.

We are seeking an experienced educational developer to join our Centre for Academic Practice Enhancement and serve as Programme Leader for our Postgraduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching in Higher Education (PgCLTHE), accredited by Advance HE. This is an exciting time to join the University of Cumbria as we launch our new Learning, Teaching & Assessment Plan. We will be redesigning our PgCLTHE to ensure strategic alignment and to drive innovation and creativity in learning and teaching practices across the University. The successful candidate will play a key role in this redesign process, reimagining the future of academic development across the University. In addition there will be opportunities to contribute to the wider professional learning offer and to lead cross-University initiatives.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the future of learning and teaching in higher education, with a deep knowledge of high impact pedagogic practices and experience of using research and scholarship to underpin enhancements in programme delivery.

In return, the University offers an attractive benefits package including 35 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, 25 research and scholarly activity days, support for professional development, mentor provision in the first year of employment and opportunity for career development.
