At HELSI, we are uniting over 200 world-class Sheffield researchers spanning 5 Faculties and 30+ Departments and Schools to tackle the global epidemic of multimorbidity – the presence of two or more age related chronic conditions – to help everyone live healthier, independent lives for longer and reduce the cost of care.
We are looking for an experienced individual to support the Institute’s Manager Dr Gemma Stephens and Co-Directors Professor Ilaria Bellantuono and Professor Alan Walker to deliver HELSI’s objectives and transform ageing for all.
You will play a key role in the success of HELSI by taking the lead on administrative process, for example:
This will entail working with a large number of internal and external stakeholders, across a wide variety of disciplines, sectors and career stages and as such the role would suit somebody with outstanding communication skills. The HELSI Administrator will also be helping to deliver the University of Sheffield’s vision and strategic plan. Our University’s core purpose is to deliver world-class research, innovation and education by working as One University.
We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK.
