The School of Health Sciences is part of a highly successful and vibrant faculty. Frequently commended for our partnership working across the sector, the school delivers a range of undergraduate and post graduate courses leading to registration in nursing, midwifery, health visiting, school nursing and district nursing, paramedic sciences and other allied healthcare professions. The University is currently investing over £3 million in the development of state-of-the-art simulation centres, which will further enhance our record of teaching innovation. 

We are seeking to recruit a part time (0.4) qualified SCPHN, School Nurse who has ambition to develop as an educator and academic, having developed teaching and assessing skills through working in a higher education role or equivalent. You will play a key role in facilitating teaching and learning across our school. Term time only contract will be considered.

Successful applicants will have opportunity to complete a teaching qualification (PGCHE) and progress through our GOLD framework to achieve HEA senior fellowship, as well as contribute to research and knowledge exchange activities.
