The School of Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences is seeking applications from individuals to join the Division of Physical Sciences as a Lecturer in Physics. The role will include research activity aligned to our Institute for Thin Films, Sensors, and Imaging. The role will primarily be based at the UWS Paisley campus, but a significant component of the role will be teaching in China, on a jointly-delivered programme covering physics, optoelectronics, and thin-film technology. The successful applicant will be required to travel internationally to teach at UWS partner institutions as deemed necessary to fulfil the University’s commitments. This would be for periods of up to several months at a time. The successful applicant will join a dedicated team who strive to continuously inspire our students and wider University community – and, through modern teaching and impactful research, continue to deliver innovative solutions to some of the world’s biggest challenges.
