We are looking for a researcher, whose expertise lies in probability theory (especially limit theorems and Markov processes) and mathematical biology, to work with Dr. Wasiur KhudaBukhsh on an EPSRC- funded project entitled “Large Graph Limits of Stochastic Processes on Random Graphs”. The central aim of the project is to derive functional limit theorems for real and measure-valued stochastic processes with applications to biochemical reaction networks, infectious disease epidemiology and ecology.

This post is available from 01 April 2024 (or as soon as possible thereafter) and will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of 9 months. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may be considered. Many of our team have flexible working patterns so we’re open to discuss flexible working arrangements with you.
