The University of Roehampton’s Research Office is seeking to recruit a Research Development Officer who will provide essential support to academic staff in securing external funding for research projects, becoming a key enabler in the development of cutting-edge research with high potential for impact.
We are looking for highly proactive individuals who is passionate about driving innovation and supporting groundbreaking research. The post-holder will work closely with academic staff and other professional services departments to identify funding opportunities and develop high-quality research grant applications, developing ambitious long-term plans for their projects.
The right candidate will also have experience in building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting the development of collaborations with local, national, and international partners including government, businesses, charities and other organisations.
This is also an exciting time for the University; we have a new award winning £35m state-of-the art library and we are continuing to develop a number of external partnerships across the globe.
We have a strong emphasis on supporting our students to reach their full potential in order to launch themselves onto successful graduate careers and we are embarking on a radical programme of enhancement in learning and teaching across all our academic areas.
