Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity in the Sheffield Centre of Health and Related Research (SCHARR) for a part time Research Associate to join the Health and Care Research Unit (HCRU), see www.sheffield.ac.uk/scharr/research/centres/hcru.
You will provide research support to an NIHR funded project led by Dr. Liz Croot. This national project will use realist methods and co-production to explore how individual service funds (ISFs) can be developed and used to improve access to individual support planning for adults with learning disabilities (EQUALD).
You will work as part of a research team led by Dr Liz Croot, to conduct and analyse realist interviews with key stakeholders including adults with learning disabilities and their allies, local authority staff, service providers, and third sector organisations. You will also engage with these stakeholders to plan and run co-production workshops.
You will have a relevant health or social science undergraduate degree, or equivalent. You will also have relevant research experience including experience of qualitative data collection, qualitative data analysis using Nvivo, managing research data, contributing to research outputs such as papers, posters and reports. Some experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is also required.
