You will be responsible for the continuing maintenance of technical facilities of the group, ensuring that the facility is properly maintained and operated.
For informal enquiries, please contact Vishal Shah ( vishal.shah@warwick.ac.uk)
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
About You
You will need a minimum of HNC/HND in an engineering discipline. Your technical skills and experience will encompass the use and maintenance of facilities. It is desirable that you have some specialist knowledge in cleanroom facility infrastructure (e.g. air handling, gas control, purification, delivery), and some understanding of handling and health and safety of high powers, high pressures and vacuum systems. You must be flexible and adaptable to take on items of scientific equipment.
Alongside your technical ability, your effective soft skills allow you to communicate, build relationships, and work harmoniously both with and alongside a wide range of colleagues, Academics and partners both internal and external to the University. This is a very busy environment, and you must have strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work on your own initiative, manage a small team/project, coordinate multiple projects with flexibility and deliver within deadlines to meet key milestones.
