Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in the management of administration for the Faculty of Business and Law.
You will support the Heads of School and Subject Leads and be responsible for managing a team of Faculty Administrators to ensure the provision of high-quality administration and operational support to a wide range of programmes. You will also work collaboratively with a range of academic and professional services across central and Faculty based teams and liaise with staff at external partnership organisations.
Ideal candidates for the role will have previous experience working in higher education or similar. You will have experience in a role involving provision of administrative services to staff and/or students as well as experience of staff management with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively, setting clear objectives to manage performance.
You will be adept at solving problems, using your excellent organisation and communication skills to manage a workload with multiple priorities, and capable of ensuring that you and your team meet deadlines with accurate work. A high level of competency in use of IT systems and applications is essential for this role.
