The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Zoology to join our academic team. This is an exciting time to join the Life Sciences team in the School and play a key role in supporting the School’s delivery and future development of biosciences over the next few years.
We are looking for individuals with subject and research expertise and/or professional practice experience in animal behaviour, welfare and conservation, with vertebrate and/or invertebrate specialisms, and can contribute to the wider bioscience portfolio through habitat ecology and conservation, diversity, and evolution. We are also seeking expertise in research methods and data analysis and importantly, experience in leading, designing, and delivering inspiring higher education programmes in zoology and biosciences fields.
The successful candidate will thrive in an environment where they work inter professionally and can continue to practice and research, whilst providing an outstanding student academic experience to develop high quality graduates in the field. Leadership, passion, solution-focussed, and the ability to communicate and nurture development are key qualities of interest.
The successful candidate will contribute to a biosciences team of experts and bring their specialist expertise in zoology to lead in this field and guide the development and delivery of this subject in current and future provision.
