Strategy Manager

If you have a strategic and commercial mindset, with strong research and analytical skills, developed through working for a management consultancy or as a part of an in-house strategy team, we would love to hear from you.

About the role

This is a new role that will involve working closely with senior stakeholders across the university to ensure that:

• the University is using a robust strategy development and delivery framework
• the strategic options are fully investigated, and decisions made based on facts
• the strategy is connected to the actions and
• our progress towards the strategic goals is monitored effectively.

This is a full time, open ended position. 

About you

Strong business acumen, effective engagement and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority will be essential for this role. 

Ideally, you will have 2+ years of work experience in management consulting or in-house corporate strategy and / or business planning, with excellent strategy development skills. Understanding of HE sector is an advantage and an MBA, or equivalent degree, is desirable.
