Job Summary
The Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal/Administrative Assistant to provide high-level professional executive support to senior Professors across the Department. The postholder will play a pivotal role in delivering multifaceted support, undertaking a wide range of administrative duties and organisational responsibilities. The role will draw upon your considerable experience gained in a position such as PA or Administrator.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the effective and efficient day-to-day management and organisation of the offices of the Professors.
Key responsibilities will include providing diary management, arranging appointments, visits, drafting correspondence and reports, data entry and analysis, preparing presentations, making travel arrangements, processing financial requirements as well as any other necessary administration.
Essential Requirements
You must have a proactive approach and possess exceptional organisational, prioritisation and communication skills with the ability to effectively use their initiative to balance their own workload and manage complex tasks for multiple Professors.
You will be confident in working independently, as well as being a strong team player.
Strong analytical and numerical skills would be advantageous.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably providing support to a senior executive is essential. Experience within the University or NHS sector is highly desirable.
Further Information
This post is a full-time and open-ended and will be split between both the Hammersmith Hospital Campus (East Acton) and the Chelsea and Westminster Campus (Fulham Broadway), with travel to other college campuses as required.
