University of Cambridge - Judge Business School

Location: Cambridge
Salary: £40,521 to £54,395 pa
Hours: Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Placed On: 9th April 2024
Closes: 21st April 2024
Job Ref: NS40462

The Master of Finance (MFin) is a one year, full-time, premium fee programme within Judge Business School.  The degree is academically rigorous and combines elements of traditional classroom-based learning with experiential opportunities and client-based projects and aims to keep pace with the most cutting-edge areas of Finance, including Algo Trading, AI and Machine Learning and Sustainable Finance to offer relevant teaching for skills in those emerging areas.

The class is now more than double its original size, with 90+ students made up of a wide variety of nationalities, with strong academic qualifications and high level prior professional experience (on average 4-5 years), who demand a level of quality of course delivery and service commensurate with their experience in the corporate world. The Programme is highly selective, and innovative in its delivery, mixing elements of traditional classroom-based learning and continually evolving online, interactive resources. The Cambridge MFin is ranked second globally amongst post experience masters degrees by the Financial Times.

The MFin represents a significant income stream for the School and as such the management and strategic focus of the programme carries considerable responsibility for reputation and the continued academic success of the Masters degree. The programme delivers over 30 courses, practitioner talks and lecture series: specialist workshops and two major client-based projects plus additional summer projects.

The Programme team directly manages the day to day operational delivery of the degree including the submission of over 1,500 pieces of assessed coursework each year, VLE management, daily course logistics and delivery across a very busy timetable, teaching committees, quality monitoring and control, pastoral issues which regularly arise, a busy schedule of internal and external events, and a complex orientation period at the start of the year.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of CJBS's long established degree programmes and to contribute to its on-going success.
