Bangor University, School of Health Sciences, Diagnostic Radiography programme is currently seeking a full-time experienced lecturer to join our team as programme lead.

As part of our current ambition and growth, we seek to recruit to a Lectureship in Health Sciences (Diagnostic Radiography). Candidates should have current registration (on the appropriate part of the register) with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Available at Grade 8, this post provides an opportunity for experienced candidates who have the vision to take the programme forward in line with policy and strategy. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in, for example, imaging across modalities, physics, technology relating to diagnostic radiography, ultrasound, and who demonstrate an understanding of the importance of HE for Radiography service workforce provision. We are interested in an individual who can support a portfolio of education for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.

This post is available on our teaching and scholarship career track. The successful candidate will have opportunities to lead the team and contribute to teaching and learning for diagnostic radiography. Support will be provided to lead innovation in teaching, learning and research, with particular focus on supporting services in practice, and encouragement to develop scholarship potential.

The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible. Salary will be on the appropriate point dependent on qualifications and experience.

This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
