Reading School of Art is looking to recruit Lecturer(s) with the knowledge and skills to lead on the department’s digital strategy.

The post is to undertake teaching, research and administration in Art within the School of Arts and Communication Design. The role holder will be actively involved in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, research, and research supervision, as well as assessment, marking and administration in a variety of academic capacities, in particularly taking the lead on the department’s digital strategy and the role of technologies (Digital and AV) in pedagogical practice and research.

You will have:

  • Experience of teaching and assessment Art at UG and/or PG levels
  • Excellent administrative, organisation and communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of digital equipment and processes in order to lead on the departments digital strategy
  • Knowledge of the practice, theory and history of the diverse global contexts of Art
