The Doctoral Training Hub (DT Hub) manages multiple Centres for Doctoral Training (CDT) and other funded cohort postgraduate programmes across the College of Science and Engineering. The DT Hub provides an innovative student and academic focused service providing end-to-end management and administration. We offer a flexible hybrid working model.
The Doctoral Training Hub Industry Engagement Manager will support two Centres for Doctoral Training:
The Doctoral Training Hub Industry Engagement Manager will have responsibility for the delivery of the industry and business development strategy for CDTs including delivering on pre-committed funding from external stakeholders and attracting new business for specific research themes or sectors. You will identify and deliver on research and knowledge exchange opportunities between the researchers within the CDT, Industry, Public Sector and other external parties as appropriate.
The successful candidate will work in parallel with DT Hub coordinators within the Doctoral Training Hub and will be required to provide relief cover to other CDTs supported by the Doctoral Training Hub as and when appropriate.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and is offered on an open ended with funding end date basis for up to 5 years in the first instance. Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.
